After months of renovation and preparation, Hyde Park Produce opened its new store today at 1226 East 53rd Street in Kimbark Plaza.
Three times as large as the produce market’s previous location down the street, the new store offers a wide variety of new items in addition to the fresh produce the store is known for. Among the offerings are fresh fish, Boar’s Head meats, fresh pastries, and prepared meals.
The store took over the space formerly occupied by Mr. G's grocery store and later by the Hyde Park Co-op Express.
