Hyde Park’s diversity is reflected in its many opportunities for worship and fellowship. All major religious faiths are represented, as are many that are less well known.
Rockefeller Memorial Chapel sponsors an annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service that draws together the university and the community. The Hyde Park-Kenwood Interfaith Council serves as an umbrella group for religious organizations in the neighborhood and is among the oldest such groups in the nation.
